We live as long as we fly

Why I don't have a driver's license: part 4

I'm pretty sick of it already, but I'll finish the story anyway.
Considering that I failed the driving exam a total of seven times, and I'm only telling you about the fourth . . .
Conclusion - I need to keep the story shorter.
So anyway,  the fourth time around, the route right out of the CSDD  headed left toward the center.
It looks like this:

Schematic representation of a road section or network with thick black lines marked with numbers 1 and 2, and a thin green line passing above them. A branch goes off line 1 to a block labeled «CSDD», and the green line forms an oval loop in the upper part of the diagram.

The tram tracks are marked in green, the intersections - with red numbers.
Meaning, at intersection 1 I turned left, and drove toward intersection 2. There I was supposed to turn right (so according to the drawing that's upwards at intersection 2). Thus, I had to cross the tram tracks. After I did that, the inspector asked me to pull the car over to the curb, as is done in cases of a gross violation and exceeding 10 penalty points.
I tried to find out what was wrong this time. It turned out that before crossing tram or railway tracks, the driver is obliged to make sure there is no approaching transport, simply put, to look both ways. I did look to the left, since I was driving in that direction, but I didn't turn my head to the right during the turn. However, the drawing clearly shows that I was driving away from the tram terminus (from the loop), and, therefore, I knew perfectly well that there was no tram there at all. To my argument that there was nowhere for a tram on the right to come from, and it could only fly in on photon propulsion from outer space, the inspector did not react, and slapped me with 10 penalty points on the spot.
Formally, the inspector is right.  But in reality - I'm not a vindictive person, so I won't write anything more here.
